WARRANTY AND CRASH REPLACEMENT

5 YEAR WARRANTY ON FRAMES
All Pässilä Bicycles frames are covered for 5 years from the purchase date for manufacturing defects. The warranty is valid for the original purchaser. If there is a validated manufacturing defect in your frame, we will repair or replace the frame for you. The warranty covers faulty materials and workmanship, but not normal wear and tear or accidental damage. The consumer shall have the rights according to the national legislation. This warranty shall not limit the consumer’s rights under the valid national legislation.

What’s covered

  • The frame.
  • Damage caused by faulty materials.
  • Damage caused by a manufacturing defect.

What’s not covered

  • Improper assembly
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper follow-up maintenance
  • Installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the bicycle
  • Damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Labor charges for part replacement or changeover
  • This warranty is void in its entirety by any modification of the frame

    All other components sold in our web store are covered for 1 year from the purchase date for manufacturing defects. The warranty is valid for the original purchaser. If there is a validated manufacturing defect in a component, we will repair or replace the it for you. The warranty covers faulty materials and workmanship, but not normal wear and tear or accidental damage. This warranty shall not limit the consumer’s rights under the valid national legislation.

    CRASH REPLACEMENT POLICY

    Sometimes a serious crash, reversing your car over your frame or driving your car to a parking hall with the bike on the roof (just few examples) can damage your frame. All Pässilä Bicycles frames are covered for 2 years from original purchase date in the event of accidental damage. This applies to the original purchaser. We'll help you out by offering you a new frame at a discounted rate. The delivery fees to us and to the manufacturer and back to you are not included. If this kind of accident happens, contact us and we'll figure out the details and the discounted price. New frame supplied by our crash replacement policy do not come with a new warranty. Pässilä Bicycles reserves the right to change or refuse this policy at any time.
